The original Alki Point Light. This Post Lantern was used at Alki Point in West Seattle from 1877 thru 1913 when the present lighthouse was first lighted. The lantern would run for 8 days and was serviced once a week. The lantern is about 27 inches tall overall (including hanger) and 15 inches in diameter.
